how i work
Zara brought me on as lead designer for a capsule apparel collection that needed to feel distinct within a brand identity that's already minimal and instantly recognizable worldwide — and that would be produced and rolled out at a scale far beyond a typical project. Over three months, I led the concept through to execution.

the challenge
Designing for scale without losing a point of view
Zara pieces get produced and sold globally at a volume where consistency and speed matter as much as originality, which meant anything too niche or too complicated wouldn't survive the reality of mass production and rollout. But playing it too safe risked the capsule disappearing inside an identity that's already stripped-down and everywhere.

the solution
I built the collection around a single clear concept that could hold up across every piece and every market, rather than designing standout garments one at a time. That discipline is what made the capsule producible at Zara's speed and scale, while still giving it a point of view you could actually name.
